Anyone have luck with a 1210?

Just got an offer to buy a 1210 Cub Cadet. Just wondering if anyone has had these...are they good tractors? If they aren't I still might buy it for the sheetmetal

Well, i did get the 1210 picked up this past weekend. didn't get any pictures though. Talked with the guy and he's into the Quietlines! I haggled with him and finally got the whole tractor for $150. He took the charge pump out of it as well as the driveshaft...and told me the engine had something wrong with it. I got the engine running in about 30 minutes and it runs great! Still debating on whether I should part the old girl out or fix it and use it...

I vote fix and use.

That's what everyone else says! I can't see why they wouldn't be a good mower....but I already have a nice 782 that needs the sheet metal...and a buyer for the 1210 engine if I decide to part it...decisions decisions!! Im sure I could get a buyer for that aluminum rear end...hear about lots of people having stripped bolts!

Well, I decided to part out the ol' 1210. Last weekend I was home I had several people ask me for parts off it so I decided to go that route. Keeping a few parts for the 782 and have the rest for sale. But, I did donate the 1210 sheetmetal to the 782...I finally got it put together and mowed with it and it works great! So, hopefully this 1210 will be a donor for a few tractors that need parts.
